Christmas time together! Finally!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and were beyond excited that we were given the chance to spend the entire holiday together. We did miss getting to see the smiling faces of our families, but were thankful for each other and our new friends here in Sasebo. We kept it very simple, woke up bright and early and even walked down the stairs to a lovely (still alive) bright tree surrounded by gifts from our loved ones. Russell and I are so thankful for all of the gifts that we were able to unwrap this fine year. After all the presents were gone through we simply sat and enjoyed each others company & then soon after got exciting phone & skype calls from our parents. After more awwing and ohhhing over our new toys we went to our dear friends, the Belguri's for an excellently planned and delicious Italian dinner. If you ever get the chance to try some of their homemade pasta sauce, do not pass it up!!!! When our bellies were full we decided to play one of our awesome new board games. We all laughed & had a great time.
